The AS-8600AM prograrrrtnuble cut & strip machine processes micro-coaxial cableswith center conductors as small as 38 AWG and most wire and cable types up to3.5mm(0.14")O.D.. In addition to micro-coaxial cables the AS-8600AM can alsoprocess extremely fine single conductor wires. Due to the universal rotary stripping head and V-type cutting blades ,The AS-8600AM is able to process the entire rangeof cable types and diameters without any blade changes. Once the values tor aparticular cable and job are stored in memory. they can beretrieved in seconds.
After pressing the" Start" key, the cable being processed is centered and clampedby the force-controlled centering system The blades then execute the rotaryincisions according to the programmed diameter and length position values. Assoon as all the required incisions are completed, the cable is transported to thecutter head where it is cut and the various layers are stripped from both cableends. After the cable idone being processed,it is transported to the machine exitand released by means of transport belts
